UofT is currently looking for executives!
Here are the positions that are currently available:
Director of Finance (one position)
Directing the daily administration of funds
Ensuring the proper maintenance of all financial records (particularly on the Intranet)
Preparation of the Financial review for his/her term and submit it by April 1
Ensuring the smooth transition of the bank account to the new Executive Committee each year
Supervising all expenditures made by the Executives
Junior Representative (two positions)
Candidate must be enrolled in his/her first or second year at UofT
Responsible for completing all duties as assigned by the events director, such as organizing events, attending executive meetings, and actively recruiting General Members in addition to upholding the PDF mandate (see constitution)
UofT Mississauga is currently looking for executives!
The following positions are available:
Junior Representative
Candidate must be enrolled in his/her first or second year at UTM
Work with events team to organize all events, attend executive meetings, and actively recruit new members
Communications Director
Handling all communication from the PDF email
Recording meeting minutes and sending updates
Oversee and delegate tasks among the communications associates: Graphics designer, photographer
Please Note That In Order To Be Eligible:
- Candidates must be current undergraduate students at the University of Toronto
- Members who have attended at least one of the three general meetings in that school year are eligible to vote
Election Rules:
- Any individual may only run for one Executive position in a given Election
- If there is only one candidate running for a specific Executive position, that person will be voted in by a Yes/No vote of two-thirds majority by eligible voting members
- Voting will take place by secret ballot
UofT is currently looking for committee members!
One of PDF UT’s main goals is to give our general members more opportunities to get involved with the work PDF is doing. The principle aims of the following committees is to facilitate avenues through which you can participate in Pakistan Development Fund and make your voice heard. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join these committees.

PDF Journal Committee:
Collect article submissions for PDF’s yearly publication.
Edit article submissions.
Help develop web format and design.
Seek out and inform potential contributors to the academic journal.
Discussion Forum Committee:
Arrange presenters and topics for monthly discussion forums.
Book space with necessary technical amenities.
Collect and/or distribute all necessary readings for upcoming discussion forum in a timely manner.
Coordinate promotion with events executives.
Operate discussion forums according to the PDF mandate.
Introduce presenters and moderate the forum.
Encourage discussion at forums.
Maintain a safe and friendly learning environment at discussion forums.
Bake Sale Committee:
Recruiting and coordinating donations of baked goods.
Communicating with volunteers in order to fill tabling shifts.
Setting up bake sale booth.
Make members, donors, and customers aware of the goals of selected charity and explain why it was chosen or how it fits PDF’s mandate.

- You must be a student at the University of Toronto for the 2012-2013 school year
- If you wish to apply for multiple committees, please submit state which committees you are interested in
